Ruggero, a timid and mild-mannered young man who has spent most of his life being overlooked and underestimated, reaches a breaking point after his ex-wife mocks him for lacking courage and ambition. Desperate to prove his worth and reclaim his pride, he makes a rash and absurd decision — to rob a bank all by himself. What begins as a clumsy act of rebellion quickly spirals into chaos when the authorities launch a massive investigation that shakes the entire city. Yet, in a twist of fate, Ruggero’s sheer ordinariness becomes his greatest disguise.

While police officers, detectives, and the media scramble to find the culprit, their attention turns to a network of corrupt bank officials, whose shady dealings make them the perfect scapegoats. Meanwhile, Ruggero — the real culprit — slips quietly through the cracks, blending back into his uneventful daily life as if nothing ever happened. Through a series of comically absurd coincidences and misunderstandings, he manages to evade justice completely, watching from the sidelines as others take the blame.

By the end, Ruggero has not only pulled off the most improbable heist imaginable but also discovered a strange new confidence in himself — proving, ironically, that courage sometimes hides in the most unexpected people and the most ridiculous of crimes.
